DVD Review: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

From the mind of Joss Whedon (creator of Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel) comes a hilarious musical about semi-super villain Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris) and his quest to gain admittance to the Evil League of Evil and win the heart of Penny the girl he loves (whom he met but has mostly failed to talk to at the laundromat). He is plagued by his do-gooder nemesis, Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion of Firefly), who not only defeats him at every turn, but wins the love of Penny. All of which Dr. Horrible chronicles in his video blog. While occasionally bursting out into song.

Seriously, this is genius. It's funny, funny stuff.
