Fiercely Friday

Wow. What a fiercely windy, beautiful, pre-storm afternoon. The lake has waves to impersonate an ocean, though it doesn't smell anything like the ocean. The wind is cool enough to be exhilerating without being so cold as to chill. It's probably going to be ugly before the day is through, but I'm well-prepared for that too, with a hearty vegetable stew simmering in the crock pot and insinuating its scent into every corner of the apartment.
