A conversation with a colleague who worked for the Obama campaign:
"How are you doing?" I asked.
"Good--I'm still decompressing from Tuesday."
"Well, you notice that the weather's been great ever since Obama was elected."
"Yes," he said, "but the stock market hasn't been."
"Dave," I said, "He's the Messiah, not an economist!"
