The excitement never stops around here, it seems. So be it. I said I'd get a T 'n' S out, though, so here it is, albeit a day late and probably at least a dollar short. It will be obvious what's on my mind, but please let me know what's on yours.
What's the best way to unwind when you're busy and stressed out and finally get a moment?
Not that I have any reason for asking this question.... Well, just getting caught up on sleep is one good option. Taking time to relax with a book is another. There's nothing quite like throwing some meat on the grill on a beautiful evening and relaxing outside with a cold beverage.
What do you do on a regular basis to keep the stress levels manageable?
Most of these things contribute somewhat to the stress, since they take time, but the payoff is worth it. Singing with the choir is one of those ways. Working out regularly is another. Both just make my overall level of well-bring a little higher. This week I'm finding relaxing with the dog to be therapeutic. Talking to my girlfriend at the end of the day. I don't do it as often as I should like, but writing in my journal (or blogging, for that matter) can help both to sort out things and make the passing of days seem like less of a blur.
What's the best de-stressing food?
Besides the aforementioned grilling... pretty much any dessert fits the bill--ice cream, splurging on the baklava with my kabob. Pizza has a certain comfort/maintainence function that I can't adequately explain.
