I am fairly certain that Providence, RI warmed up and the sun came out from behind a cloud at or around 3 p.m. yesterday. If not at precisely that time, then at the very least nature was conspiring in anticipation of that hour, because that was the official start of spring break here. Certainly, the sun came out and the temperature warmed pleasantly in the dispositions of the students here and, I suspect, in most of the faculty as well. Of course, while I gave my students very little homework over the break, I gave myself quite a bit by collecting essays from two of my four classes today. When I will get to them, I do not know, because...
I will soon be heading to Maine to learn how to build a house at the Shelter Insitute. I'm heading up to visit my girl and her puppy tonight and we'll head up to Maine on Sunday. I am going to try to "can" some entries so that new things will continue to post here while I'm gone, but I can't make any promises. I don't know whether I'll have any internet access while I'm in Maine, nor whether I'll have any energy left to blog with even if I do, but I would hate to go two weeks without updating this site. I've got some ideas of things that I want to write about, so here's hoping that I get at least some of them written. I almost certainly won't be around visiting blogs over the next two weeks, though I'll do my best to catch up when I get back.
Until then, best to you all!
