Thursday Think 'n' Share XCVI

posted Thursday, 19 July 2007

Thursday what? you may be asking yourself, since such a beast has not been seen in these parts in over a month (nor for a month before that). Well, it's back, even if the Roman numerals have become as baffling to me as they have been to you. Thursday Think 'n' Share had slowed down in order to keep pace with the rest of my blog--well, sort of. It all started, for this feature, when I ran out of Ungame cards and couldn't find the remaining box. That had taken some of the wind from the sails that propel the T'n'S, and then when that box turned up again, it just happened to be at a time when everything else that was going on took the oars too, from the whole blogging project in general. At any rate, here we are again, at least for the time being. Think, share, enjoy!

Say something about reading.

Well, this is probably apropos with HPVII coming out in a couple days, now isn't it? There's a heck of a lot I could say about reading, but I'll just say that one of my favorite things about summer is how much more reading I get done during these three months compared with the rest of the year.

Say something about borrowing.

When it comes to money, what I can say is that I try not to. When it comes to things, I can say that it's often a good way to share things, but easy to forget to return them--I've been guilty of that failure and I've lost things to the failure of others, but it's still a heck of a nice way to avoid buying things (books or movies, for instance) that you don't have and don't want to have, but would sure like to get a one-time use out of.

How do you feel about being alone?

There's a big difference between choosing to be alone and having isolation thrust upon oneself. That said, I need a certain amount of time to myself in any given day--chalk it up to being an only child, maybe?
